Mr. Lassiter received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Alabama in 1979, and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. He has been a practicing attorney since 1982. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. He is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives, and he lectures at seminars on various Social Security topics. Mr. Lassiter has been concentrating his practice in the area of Social Security since 1986. He usually handles over three hundred cases a year, including cases before the Federal Courts and the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.
