John P. Young is an attorney who knows the meaning of giving to the community. He has distinguished himself among his peers by serving the members of the Indianapolis area in a variety of ways. Most notable is his commitment as the Indianapolis Bar's Pro Bono Panel; he has served on the Panel since 1989 and is dedicated to the idea that every citizen deserves the best legal representation. As a member of several professional associations, Mr. Young is known in the legal industry as a driven and bright attorney. He belongs to the American and Indiana Bar Associations. As a trial attorney, he realizes the value of colleagues and belongs to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. His work has caught the attention of several local and national trial lawyers groups and he holds the distinction of being certified as a Trial Specialist by at least one national trial attorneys organization. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Indiana as well as the Northern and Southern Districts of the Indiana U.S. District Court. Mr. Young also practices in the U.S. Federal Court.
Mr. Young graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and earned his law degree at Indiana University School of Law in 1988.
