At the law office of Christine M. Naper, I am dedicated to helping people who have been denied Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. As former Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Social Security Committee and with more than 25 years of experience with Social Security disability rules, regulations and case law, I have the experience to help you obtain the benefits you are entitled to receive.
I started practicing law in 1977 as a staff attorney for Legal Services programs in Chicago and Maryland which provide civil representation for low-income individuals. I focused my efforts on the needs of people with claims under the SSDI, SSI and other public entitlement programs. I supervised paralegals and new attorneys who provided legal services to disadvantaged clients. For the past ten years, I have been in private practice, concentrating on helping people whose claims for Social Security Disability and SSI were denied.
SSDI Claims
If you have suffered an injury or are experiencing an illness that will keep you from working for at least 12 months, I can help you recover benefits under the SSDI program. I handle appeals at all stages of the process, from requests for reconsideration and hearings before administrative law judges to appeals to the Social Security Appeals Council in Washington, DC, as well as civil actions in federal court. To learn more, see my SSDI claims page.
SSI Claims
If you fail to qualify for SSDI benefits, I may be able to help you recover compensation under the Supplemental Security Income program, which provides benefits to blind, disabled or elderly individuals based solely on need.
