I started working on Social Security cases in 1996, while still in law school at Texas Tech. At that time, I was looking for an area of law that was underserved, but growing in need. A professor told me about this area of Social Security law. After that, I went to the library and found several books on the subject, volunteered at West Texas Legal Aid, and took my first case. I have proudly been doing this ever since.
My partner, Jennifer Cates, is a former Assistant District Attorney with the Randall County District Attorney's office. She prosecuted both felonies and misdemeanors and has a great deal of experience as a trial attorney.
My wife, Brenda, manages the office. She keeps our budget and makes sure that all of the cases get appealed timely and properly. We have other legal assistants that provide all of the services that our clients need such as answering the phones, preparing client files, and requesting medical records. They are introduced on the Team page.
We handle Social Security and Veterans' cases NATIONWIDE.
We have handled hundreds of cases, and we can put our experience to work for you.
