I was honored by the State Bar of California in 2006 when I was named the Attorney of the Year for the State of California in the field of Workers’ Compensation. I am committed to my community and in 2005, my wife Sharilyn and I were nominated Wishmaker of the Year by the Stanislaus Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We have many other local charitable activities as well. I feel the same dedication to my clients and my law practice.

Born in Modesto, California in 1958. Attended Modesto Junior College, graduating from University of California, Stanislaus in 1982 with a B.A. in Sociology. Graduated with a J.D. degree (with distinction) from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1985. Awarded scholastic honors of the Traynor Society and the Order of the Coif. Licensed to practice in 1986. Practiced with Strauss, Neibauer, Anderson & Hollenback from March 1986 to December 1989 Moorad, Clark & Gleason from December 1989 to February 1992, and became a partner at Jones, Cochrane, Hollenback, Nelson Zumwalt from February 1992 until it's dissolution on May 31, 2007. Now in solo practice since June 1, 2007.
Currently Gary is a board member of the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Division of the California State Bar. He was voted Attorney of the Year for Workers' Compensation by the State Bar in 2006.
Current affiliations include Stanislaus County Make-A-Wish Foundation. He and his wife Sharilyn were voted Wishmakers of the Year in 2005 by the Foundation. They are both deeply committed to various charitable causes in the Stanislaus County area.

Tara Davis
I was born in Chicago, Illinois however mainly raised in the Central Valley. Graduated with BA degree in Political Science and Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus in 1989, magna cum laude if that matters- Attended Humphreys College School of Law, in Stockton, CA and graduated in 1996. I was admitted to the California Bar, December 1996.
I have worked in the areas of personal injury on both the plaintiff and insurance defense sides. Currently, we represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases. We also handle Social Security cases and Workers’ Compensation cases as well. If at all interested, I have two great kids and an awesome horse-riding is my hobby!
